What is an Internet Services Provider (ISP)?

Submitted Aug 22, 2008 by Support Team

Your internet service provider or ISP is the company that provides you access to the internet via dial up, DSL, Cable, etc.

The Workz group provides virtually all types of Internet services except ISP, since ISP is typically provided by local cable/phone companies or providers such as AOL, MSN or Earthlink.
